The 9th UK Conference on Wind Engineering will explore and discuss developments, projects and techniques across the whole field of wind engineering.  The UK Wind Engineering Society (WES) has organised biennial conferences since 1992.

Accommodation

Single en-suite rooms, with breakfast, are available at the conference venue. We can offer registration packages complete with accommodation for 2 nights (20-22 Sept.) or 3 nights (19-22 Sept.), for a cost of £50 per night above the basic conference registration fees. The conference programme is yet to be finalised, but we currently plan to start at 10am on Monday 20 Sept. and finish with lunch on Wednesday 22 Sept, with an optional post-conference technical visit finishing at approximately 5pm. 

The Monday evening meal and Tuesday evening conference dinner are included in the full registration fees (with or without accommodation).  The dining hall will not be open on the Sunday evening, but there are many restaurant options in Clifton.  An evening bar will be available at the conference venue on the Sunday and Monday evenings. 

If you plan to arrive after 8:00pm, please email the conference office (wes-2010@bristol.ac.uk) with an indication of your estimated arrival time, so we can ensure someone is available to check you in.
