This conference is for you if you are:

  • A communications professional working in health or social care
  • Responsible for communications within a health or social care organisation
  • Interested in health or social care communications
  • New to communications or an experienced professional, working in a Primary Care Trust, Strategic Health Authority, acute or mental health trust or any other health or social care organisation.
  • Working in patient and public involvement
  • Working in marketing within or for the NHS

This conference is designed for all those with responsibilities for communications in, and for, the NHS. It will expose delegates to learning experiences that will make it easier for them to help their organisation meet its communication challenges. It is designed to:

 

  • Build on delegates’ skills and experience
  • Enable participants to learn from experts in the public and private sectors
  • Encourage the sharing of  good practice
  • Develop learning networks
  • Tailor delegate’s skills to help deliver organisational objectives.

It provides 20 points towards the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ Continuous Professional Development Scheme.

 

The programme

 

This year’s programme will challenge, entertain, inspire and engage delegates throughout.  Speakers include Chief Executives from the public and private sectors, high profile individuals and top communicators. The conference will be chaired by former ITV health correspondent, Sandy Barton.

Running alongside the conference is the annual Communicating Health exhibition.  This gives delegates access to key suppliers working across the communication, marketing and patient and public involvement fields.
